35 ways to Celebrate YOU on Valentine’s Day
10 Feb
With Valentine’s Day around the corner there are lots of ideas (and chocolate and dinner reservations and champagne and teddy bears) aimed at you to buy for your partner/loved ones. All sorts of things that Hallmark has us convinced (kinda) are a necessity to show our love and appreciation for the special people in our lives.
Well, I am going to go out on a limb here and say that they overlook what you should be doing everyday, a person that you should be showing your love and appreciation to, every single day – YOU!
That’s right. You. You’re a rockstar. An angel. A mom. A sister. A girlfriend. A friend. A diva. The big cheese. El numero uno. The top dog. Wonder Woman. The world’s sunshine.
And my guess is you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Or if you are a lucky one and don’t carry that weight, chances are you still don’t take enough time for yourself every.single.day.
So in honor of Valentine’s Day and YOU and how I think you should celebrate Valentine’s day to you every.single.day, here’s a laundry (no, that was NOT a reminder to do laundry) list of things that you can do, even for FIVE minutes every.single.day to show you, the rockstar that you are, some love.
