I am just going to say it. Outloud. Because it's Valentine's Day. You don't mind right?
I LOVE YOU. Yup, I do.
I love you for reading my newsletters. I love you for watching my videos. I love you for posting comments on my blog. I love you for "liking" my Facebook page.
See? That wasn't so painful right. I. Love. You.
Now, onto today's video which was a big one for me to film. And then once I filmed it, it was an even BIGGER step to edit and then publish it (for the entire world!) on Youtube. Why was it such a big thing you wonder? Well in my video, I share with you the 8 things I tackled to improve my relationship. Or how I tackled the topic of happiness as coming from, or impacted by my relationship. It gets personal.
You may remember awhile back when I did a blog post about what I did to be happier. Feel free to check it out here. I had read Gretchn Rubin's book, The Happiness Project and was intrigued about the idea of happiness - how to have it, how to generate it, where it comes from, how to create it. Personally, I think a lot of us are on a journey to be happier, whether we are actively seeking happiness or not.
So I read the book, took some notes and decided to take matters into my own hand. The book documents Ms. Rubin's year spent test driving studies and theories about how to be happier. And my blog post documents my time spent putting her ideas into action.
My blog post about happiness was a hit, one of my most popular posts to date - generating lots of traffic, commentary and conversation. Honestly I was kinda blown away at the response. But it got me thinking - huh, what else can I do to impact the level of happiness in my life?
So I experimented with 8 ways to improve my relationship. And today being the day we are supposed to be all lovey, dovey (right?!) seemed like a good as day as any to share it all with you, ahem, the world! Click play below to watch it. *****It does contain some Valentine's Day cheeeze. Consider yourself warned*****
